General Introduction
YUSHI Instruments, a leading manufacturer in the field of NDT technology, is dedicated to providing solutions to the toughest NDT challenges faced by customers worldwide. Our immersion probes are cutting-edge NDT devices designed to enhance the stability of ultrasonic thickness measurements. These probes are generally used with immersion tank to conduct ultrasonic immerison thickness analysis.
The immersion probes offered by YUSHI are highly versatile and can be used in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing. They are designed to be user-friendly and easy to operate to make them suitable for the thickness measurement of unregular products.
In addition, our immersion probes are designed to be durable and long-lasting, ensuring that they can withstand the rigors of daily use in industrial environments. With regular maintenance and calibration, these probes can provide years of reliable service, helping you save time and money in the long run.
The Principle of Immersion Probe
The Immersion Probes adopt Pulse-echo method. The transducers can launch the ultrasonic pulse and water will convey the ultrasonic pulse to the material. When the pulse contact with the bottom or defect, it will be reflected back to the transducer. We can calculate the time of this whole progress to verify the size and the location of defect.

Where can immersion probe be used for?
The characteristics of different industries determine the different requirements for NDT. Some industries need high-precision NDT measurement with keeping the integrity and purity of material. So we have to use immersion probes for these industries:
● Aerospace: Inspection for technical components and cannot damage the workpiece.
● Automobile: Inspection for stamping parts, welding and structural components
● Oil and Gas: Inspection for pipelines, tanks and pressure vessels.
● Agriculture: Inspection for eggs and other agricultural products.

Advantages of Immersion Probe
● High precision:YUSHI Immersion probes can provide very high resolution and sensitivity to make sure we can get high-accuracy measurement values.
● Using Flexibly:Can be used with various configurations to fit for the different appearance of tested materials. Can be easily integrated into automated systems for achieving convenient and smart Non-destructive testing.
● Multiple usage: Immersion probe is suitable in great variety of materials, such as plastic, glass, metal, even egg shell, etc.
● Eco-friendliness: No necessity for polluting the workpiece, immersion probes can measure the material by water instead of oil or other kinds of couplants.
