General Introduction
Calibration blocks are used to reduce measurement errors, which is essential for accurate measurement results.The YUSHI calibration blocks can be divided into Thickness Gauge Block and Flaw Detector Block according to their usages.Thickness Gauge Block is mainly Step Wedge Calibration Block.All of YUSHI Blocks can be customized and customers can have OEM service provided by YUSHI.
Product Applications
1.IIW V1 Calibration Blocks
Calibrate shear and longitudinal wave distances, set beam incidence points and determine precise propagation angles.
2.IIW V2 Calibration Blocks
A modified version of the IIW Type 1.
3.DS Calibration Blocks
Used for longitudinal distance and sensitivity calibration.
4.RC Calibration Blocks
Identify the resolution of angle beam transducers
5.DSC Calibration Blocks
Calibrated to measure the distance, sensitivity, refractive angle, and beam index of an angle beam sensor according to AWS and ASHTO requirements..

10.Phased Array Type A Calibration Blocks
This block can be used to perform tasks such as beam angle verification, calibration for wadge delay, sensitivity calibration, performing DAC/TCG and more.
11.Phased Array Type B Calibration Blocks
It is used for beam characterization and evaluation of system performance characteristics.
12.Phased Array NAVSHIPS Calibration Blocks
This special Phased Array version of the popular NAVSHIPS block solves the problem of toom many holes interfering with one another.
Product Functions
1.Determine the sensitivity of flaw detection:
Too high sensitivity will cause too much clutter and make it difficult to detection.
2.Test the performance of the probe:
Some important properties of ultrasonic flaw detectors and probes are tested using test blocks.
3.Adjust the scanning speed:
The test block can be used to adjust the proportional relationship between the horizontal scale value on the instrument screen and the actual sound path.
4.Determine the size of defect:
For defects within 3N, the test block comparison method is still the most effective method for quantification.
