General Introduction

1.IIW V1 Calibration Blocks

Calibrate shear and longitudinal wave distances, set beam incidence points and determine precise propagation angles.

2.IIW V2 Calibration Blocks

A modified version of the IIW Type 1.

3.DS Calibration Blocks

Used for longitudinal distance and sensitivity calibration.

4.RC Calibration Blocks

Identify the resolution of angle beam transducers

5.DSC Calibration Blocks

Calibrated to measure the distance, sensitivity, refractive angle, and beam index of an angle beam sensor according to AWS and ASHTO requirements..

6.SC Calibration Blocks

Shear wave sensitivity calibration.

It is used for beam characterization and evaluation of system performance characteristics.

12.Phased Array NAVSHIPS Calibration Blocks

This special Phased Array version of the popular NAVSHIPS block solves the problem of toom many holes interfering with one another.

 

Product Functions

 

1.Determine the sensitivity of flaw detection:

Too high sensitivity will cause too much clutter and make it difficult to detection.

2.Test the performance of the probe:

Some important properties of ultrasonic flaw detectors and probes are tested using test blocks.

3.Adjust the scanning speed:

The test block can be used to adjust the proportional relationship between the horizontal scale value on the instrument screen and the actual sound path.

4.Determine the size of defect:

For defects within 3N, the test block comparison method is still the most effective method for quantification.
